sometimes i am glowing outward... feeling such a sense of outpouring vastness and spaciousness that nothing could possibly contain me.

other times i feel like a flower retracting its petals... closing, sinking, curling back inside myself... shrinking down so nobody will notice me.

right now is one of those other times.
