my "valentine" wrote me this amazingly beautiful poem a couple days ago, and i thought it would be nice to add to the little time capsule today:

we swirled in our mother ocean

and we spiraled into form

clicked into new mortal framework

the day that we were born

the waves warmed us all together

and the sun shined on the brew

we stood up from the water

and evolved into me and you

let us not have time for difference

or commit ourselves to fear

unfettered by our fleeting lives

let us love while we are here
