i am sitting in a little internet cafe on a street called "Rue Violet" in Paris! i just arrived this afternoon after staying in London last night...
i have had many adventures already... and this is only day 2! i have so, so, so much i could write about here, i don't even know where to begin.
i am happy. i feel alive. i feel so very OUT in the big wide world! i feel so many things.....
i have never been to Paris before. i am loving the melodious sounds of human voices around me... speaking in this different language, i'm undistracted by the associations of words and it just sounds lovely.
europe is absolutely beautiful. the train ride over was a blur of lush, vivid, deep emerald green pastures, fields of brilliant yellow mustard flowers, rows of poplar trees, grazing sheep, old stone and brick houses with red roofs... under a watercolor gray sky.
paris is lines of old stone buildings with intricate wrought iron balconies... many little alleyways, cafes, etc. i saw the eiffel tower on the way over to the hotel!
i must go now... i am paying many euros for these minutes. i will update much more when i get to florence on Monday, hopefully...
i happen to be adjacent to a radio studio here in Paris and they want to interview me. hehe... isn't that wild?
